Knee pain is a prevalent issue that affects people of all ages and can significantly impact daily
activities. The knee joint is one of the largest and most complex joints in the body, composed of
bones, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. Due to its intricate structure and the stress it endures
from weight-bearing activities, the knee is particularly vulnerable to injury and degeneration.
Common symptoms of knee pain include swelling, stiffness, and difficulty straightening or
bending the knee, which can hinder mobility and quality of life.

One of the primary causes of knee pain is osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease that occurs
when the cartilage cushioning the knee gradually wears away. Tendonitis, inflammation of the
tendons around the knee, can also lead to pain, particularly in athletes and individuals who
engage in repetitive activities.

Other causes include ligament injuries, such as tears to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) or
the medial collateral ligament (MCL), which often occur during sports or physical activities.
In addition to these physical injuries, factors like obesity, improper footwear, and biomechanical
issues can contribute to knee pain. Excess weight places additional stress on the knee joints,
